Jacob began speech and occupational therapy in February of 2011, along with some play therapy at home. in a matter of a year, he went from using about 10 words to a vocabulary of over 100, and he is now beginning to learn how to put sentences together. Socially, he has also come a long way. He is a shy and reserved child, and prefers to play by himself, and always has been. However, he has been playing with us more than ever, making great eye contact, and he's starting to play with other children. A very large amount of my time is spent working with Jacob to get him caught up with his peers so he can have an easy transition into school.

Madison Rosali came into this world on December 14, 2011, exactly one week early. She is also beautiful and very healthy. She is meeting all of her milestones, and doing great so far. She is still so little, and already such a firecracker- and she is the complete opposite of her brother. It has been a roller coaster adjusting to having two, but we have a nice routine going now and we couldn't be happier!
Madi has been quite strong willed and fun. She is already developing at quite an advanced rate in speech, some of which I attribute to all the therapy she's getting through being around Jacob and his intervention. Her absolute favorite word is "NO!" which is followed closely by her own name. She is such a sweetheart and she loves kitties and puppies.
